Boot Camp Coach To Run 3,230 Miles

Ashley Kumlien, a coach with Lake Country Boot Camp and a friend of Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp, will run 3,230 miles across America from San Francisco, CA to New York, NY inspired by her mother’s 27 year diagnosis of MS.  She chose to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis because her mother, Jill Kumlien, has been battling MS for over 27 years.  This disease has robbed Ashley’s mother of the abilities we take for granted every day. This run is a tribute to Jill’s daily triumph over disabilities associated with having MS, and to all others just like her living with the disabling affects of this disease.

The main goal of MS Run the US Inc. is to raise awareness about MS and inspire individuals across the nation to donate toward the cure of this disabling disease.  In order to inspire the donations towards this cause Ashley wanted to do something BIG.  Something a few hundred people have done before, but something many would consider out of their realm of possibility.  She decided to run 20-30 miles a day, 6 days a week for approximately 6 months traveling from San Francisco, CA to New York, NY.  The idea is to generate attention and, in turn, raise as much money as possible to be donated to multiple MS organizations to aid the research and help to find a cure for this disabling disease.

Milwaukee Adventure Boot Camp is a proud sponsor of Ashley’s goal in MS run the US.  To learn more about the run or to make a charitable donation to this fantastic cause, please visit Ashley’s site at MSRuntheUS.com.
